  Kerstin Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen), 29 September 1931-11 January 2015) was an actress from Sweden, popular for her gorgeous figure and beauty. The role she played as Sylvia, in Federico Fellini's film La Dolce Vita (1960) has made her a household name. Ekberg was born in Sweden on the 29th of September 1931. She was the sixth child of eight. Anita worked as fashion model in her teenage years. As per the requests by her mother, Ekberg participated in Miss Malmo in 1950.
