Aaron Jeffery

Jeffery is an award-winning New Zealand-Australian actor. He is best known for
his roles as Terry Watson in Water Rats and as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters
and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Born in Howick, Auckland,
Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of 17 and enrolled in acting at NIDA. He
graduated with his NIDA degree in 1993. Then the graduation, he began his
television career as a producer on the children's program Ship to Shore.
Jeffery is best-known for his role playing Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. The
show ended in 2008. He also appeared on the third season of Outrageous Fortune,
a New Zealand drama. Jeffery was the main character Frank in Underbelly:
Badness. He wrapped filming on 22 June. The following day it was revealed that
Jeffery had joined the crew of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was
revealed that Jeffery was selected to play an officer in corrections on
Wentworth in October. Bevan Lee's show Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. The
show was announced in April 2021 that Jeffery was set to appear on the Netflix
thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is inspired by the Karin Slaughter
novel. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie for the Most Popular
actor in the Drama Series for his role on McLeod's Daughters.
