Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell was TV personality and former chef of the Institute of Culinary Education and she was formerly an instructor of cooking. Anne Burrell. Burrell is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Her signature spiky blonde hair and her pumped-up appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of dining out, and provides concise easy-to-master techniques for home cooks on her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell has worked and studied at the top New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. She pursued her love of working in the restaurant business by enrolment in The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English and Communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful experience. The Culinary Institute of America was an excellent opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduation, chef Burrell went on to spend one period of time in Italy attending Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany. In her time in Italy she grew to truly comprehend and appreciate the philosophy of Italian culinary and cultural traditions that made a lasting impression from a culinary point of view. Burrell was a Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board participant, with the goal of to increase living conditions for kids who are facing difficulties. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation (JDRF) celebrity ambassador, and is a vocal advocate for awareness of children's diabetes. She has been a frequent to speak at conferences and tours the country as part of her mentorship job. Anne has stated during her career in the kitchen she is incredibly fortunate to be able share with others what is truly important to her.
